Hi, I am a Software Engineer in the traffic infrastructure team at LinkedIn. Our team is responsible for LinkedIn's reverse proxy (Apache Traffic Server) and each request / response goes through our proxy. It is therefore very critical for the latency a user might experience. Furthermore, it is also important for it to be stable to serve over 700 million LinkedIn members from all over the world. I am happy to be part of this team and every day I am learning something new. Back in summer 2019, I was an Intern in this team and return to it after graduation.

I received my Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin). During my time at UT Austin, I was the TA for the courses CS 378 Modern Web Applications and CS377P Programming for Performance.

Before coming to UT Austin, I was a RA working with Dr. Tyng-Luh Liu at Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica. Our research focused on computer vision and deep learning. Specifically, we were interested in applying object detection to 360-degree images and recovering masked regions in images by generative adversarial networks (GANs).

I received my B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a minor degree in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) in 2016. During my last semester at NCTU, I was honored to have the opportunity to attend the exchange program at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), where I learned a lot from top faculty and students.
